INDIA ON ITS WAY
- India which is in the third place in the emissions of green house gases globally preceded by US and China has reported to increase emissions by 5% annually according to a report. In 2015, Green house gas emissions have grew 5% in India while the emissions from first two nations remained stagnant. It is likely that the emissions from India will continue the trend of increasing emissions for few more years.
ONCE SECOND LARGEST SALT LAKE
- Iran's lake Urmia, once the second largest hyper-saline lake in the world has faced a decline of 80 percent in the recent decades. According to a research, the factors contributing to this decline is both human usage and climate changes.

ORGANIC FARMING LAND SKYROCKETING
- United States organic farming land has reached 4.1 million acres in 2016, with a 11% record growth. As of June 2016, the number of certified organic farms in the US had reached 14,979 - a 6.2 % increase as compared to 2104.
CORAL REEF ECOSYSTEM THREATENED
- According to a study made by Duke University and University de bretagne occidentale, Coarl reef ecosystem is threatened by the rising levels of Carbon dioxide. A number of places are at risk because of rising sea temperatures.
